Eden USA is looking for dependable, capable event-production contractors for part-time, project-based work throughout Southern California. Opportunities may include staging, sound systems, lighting, video, equipment delivery, setup, operation, strike, and other hands-on event-production work.
This is part-time contractor work only and is currently limited to Southern California. Many assignments begin at or dispatch from our Chino warehouse and production facility, with work performed at event locations throughout Southern California. Work is scheduled around individual events rather than a regular full-time schedule. Contractors may indicate their availability for upcoming events through the Eden USA Contractor Portal and GIG-LIST system after they have been approved and onboarded.
Some assignments require experienced event-production technicians, while others may be appropriate for dependable people with strong hands-on skills who are interested in gaining additional event-production experience. Applicants should be comfortable with physical event work, have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, a working mobile phone, and appropriate black event-style clothing.
We are currently especially interested in physically capable contractors who can safely handle Steeldeck staging, including loading, unloading, carrying, assembling, leveling, striking, and returning staging equipment after events.
We are also looking for dependable drivers who are comfortable operating larger event-production vehicles, including approximately 14-foot, 24-foot, and 26-foot trucks. Experience driving a manual-transmission truck is particularly valuable because one of our production vehicles uses a stick shift.
Experience with staging, audio, lighting, audiovisual equipment, LED video walls, live and corporate events, rental equipment, delivery, warehouse work, construction, or other hands-on technical work is helpful.
